Citywide Garage Sale

The Albany Citywide Garage Sale takes place each May and offers residents an opportunity to reduce, reuse, and recycle by hosting garage sales in front of their homes. The event supports waste reduction efforts by keeping usable items out of the landfill, while also offering community members a chance to earn some extra income.

Registration for the 2025 Citywide Garage Sale is now open.

Albany residents may register online or submit a hard copy application(PDF, 205KB)  at any of the following locations:

• City Hall – 1000 San Pablo Avenue
• Albany Community Center – 1249 Marin Avenue
• Albany Senior Center – 846 Masonic Avenue

There is no fee to register. Registration is open to Albany residents only.
The deadline to submit a registration form is Friday, April 18 by 5:00 PM.

Only addresses, cross streets, and sale item descriptions will be published. All other personal information, including names, email addresses, and phone numbers, will remain confidential.
