The City of Albany uses a range of social media sites to inform and engage its residents wherever they are, instantaneously. These sites allow the City to share information, images, and videos with the public in a timely fashion, giving residents the ability to interact with staff by commenting and asking questions. Although the City's website is still the City's main way of communicating online, these social media sites give the City another tool to keep residents informed.
