The City of Albany has two sports fields that can be reserved. They are primarily used for but not limited to baseball, softball, and soccer.
The City of Albany Recreation & Community Service Department requires field reservations. Once the field reservation is approved a permit will be issued. The link for the field application and details can be found below.
Applications for the field will be accepted on or after the following dates for each season and time-stamped for reservation purposes.

The City of Albany closes its fields annually to give the grass time to rest and rejuvenate. This is a critical step in the City's maintenance plan to ensure the fields are properly maintained due to the heavy wear and tear they endure. Opening dates are subject to change.
Rain-out information will be updated by 2:00pm, Monday - Friday. After 2pm weekdays and weekends, league/team officials decide if the field is playable. The status can be checked by calling the City of Albany Field Status Line: 510-559-7219.
