Friends of Albany Parks is a city program that encourages residents and community members to form a strong (or stronger) connection with their favorite city parks. Friends of Albany Parks holds clean-up days at; Memorial, Terrace, Oceanview and Creekside. Since inception in 2014 the Friends of Albany Parks has committed over 150 service hours to cleaning, planning and beautifying the green spaces our city has come to enjoy.

Friends of Albany Parks looks to create community stewardship within the City of Albany and beyond. The Friends of Albany Parks promotes placemaking and neighborhood involvement. If you come to a park clean up we offer free snacks and beverages!

Return outdoors with the resolution of working out with friends. Try a new sport such as pickleball or get back into a classic like adult coed soccer or coed softball. Contact the Adult Sports Coordinator B. Bell to start your own team or join a team as a free agent. Registration for spring leagues open in  January, with registration for summer league kicking off in June! Learn More about Adult Sports in Albany
